Hi, my name is Steve Doria and I live in Pueblo, Colorado with my wonderful wife and daughter. I began developing a passion for website design several years ago, while living in Houston, Texas, and continue to develop my skills and knowledge. Since I currently work full time in the computer cabling industry, this learning has been taking place in all manner of non-traditional ways. But because of my desire for excellence, I continue to add to my knowledge of this ever changing medium.

My passion is to help other people and fledgling businesses to have a quality working website. My style is very hands-on with my clients, keeping communication open and active to insure satisfaction. I am very personable and easy to work with, so feel free to contact me with any questions you many have.

In case you wonder about these, I employ the following programs and technologies to accomplish your web design goals:

HTML 4.01, XHTML, CSS-1, 2, P, JavaScript and PHP

Jasc PaintShop Pro, Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop

You may notice that I do not list any HTML editors here, that is because while I do have some experience working with Dreamweaver, I much prefer the freedom of coding by hand. It simply allows more flexibility.

Another thing you won't see here, is a mention of using templates. Many webmasters rely on pre-made pages that can be adapted to your request. While this does reduce the time involved in making the site, it often results in a cookie-cutter look or just a plain unoriginal design. I prefer to design your site around you or your businesses personality and preferences. A great deal can be said about a company without words.

Last, but not least, is my constantly growing knowledge, involvement and experience with the web community. I keep abreast of changes in design trends, search engine nuances, and marketing strategies. I steer away from those bells and whistles that don't produce results, but stick with what works. I like to share my knowledge and make my clients aware of all that can make their site successful.
