When you receive an e-mail with text you want to send to other folks, do the following:
- 1. Use your mouse, move your cursor over the first word of the text you want to copy.
- 2. Click the left mouse button and drag your cursor to the end of the text, while holding the mouse button down.
- 3. Once all the text is highlighted, let go of the mouse button.
- 4. Move your cursor over the highlighted portion and clicking the RIGHT mouse button once. A menu will pop up.
- 5. Choose "Copy" by moving your cursor over it and clicking your left mouse button once.
(You will see no effect to this action, but trust me, the highlighted portion is saved on your "clipboard". There is no time limit, so relax.)
- 6. Now open up a brand new e-mail to compose or write.
- 7. Move your cursor over the portion of the screen where the body of a new e-mail would go.
- 8. Click your RIGHT mouse button once, and choose "Paste" from the menu by clicking it with your left mouse button.
- 9. Write a nice note to your friends introducing the e-mail.
- 10. Add addresses.
- 11. Send.
If your e-mail is full of those annoying little ">>>>>"s.
Paste the text to my text cleaner, clean it, then copy and paste the clean text.
When you receive an e-mail with an image you want to send to other folks, do the following:
- 1. While viewing the image that apparently has you inspired to share with your friends, right click on it.
- 2. Choose "Save Picture As".
- 3. A small window will pop up. Within this window do the following...
- Find an appropriate place to store this little guy, such as "My Documents" or "Desktop" from the menu.
- Name the file something you think is appropriate, if it isn't already. Be sure not to change the extension (i.e. .jpg, .gif)
- Click "Save"
- 4. Open a new e-mail to compose.
- 5. Click "attach file" or "add attachment" or however your client names the function of ataching a file to the e-mail.
- 6. Find your file.
- 7. Attach it.
- 8. Write a nice note to your friends.
- 9. Add the addresses.
- 10. Send.
